Description
To position BOSCH’s strongest ventilation hood – the DKE 9605PUC - as the only ventilation hood powerful enough to prevent cooking smells from spreading through the kitchen and the entire house.
Execution
We wanted to let the customers experience kitchen smells in a multi-sensory way: With a brochure that offered impressive visuals and as well as a real, unpleasant smell wafting from the pages.
To give the visuals greater gravitas, we chose a style similar to classic war paintings. We also covered the paper with an invisible layer of a special fragrance so that the pages gave off an unpleasant smell, especially when they were rubbed.
Outcome
Significant rise in enquiries in shops and clicks on the BOSCH Home Appliances homepage, jump in sales for both DKE 9605PUC and other BOSCH kitchen products. At the PoS, customers were engaged for longer periods of time with the brochure and the ventilation hood range.
