We sent a mail shot to experts and advisors that demonstrated the precision of the new Bosch fretsaws. They just had to open 3 consecutive flaps:1. They had to follow a straight line, but on pulling, an uneven cut was unavoidably produced and the result of the cut appeared underneath: wood splinters.2. On pulling, a straight cut was produced, without any unevenness. Only fine sawdust appeared: a clean cut.3. A cup was revealed. When being filled with hot liquid it showed the image of the new Fretsaw. We also announced a salesperson’s visit to make a demonstration.
Outcome
Immediately after the mail shot was received, Bosch’s sales people started to get in contact with the advisors (310 in Spain and 160 in Portugal). 100% of them accepted the visit from the sales person and recalled a favourable impression of the mail shot. 41% made orders for the fretsaws.
