Description

Bright TV has the brand purpose of existing to brighten up Thai lives.

Our Bright Exercise program turns the time people spent watching our TV shows, into a time that could get them active and ultimately motivate them to live healthier lives. We changed people’s behavior while watching TV by simply inviting them to exercise along. The campaign generated positive public interest and conversation about Bright TV.

This helped further illustrate our brand commitment to Thai people.

Execution

To encourage our audience to become more active, we dedicated a small rectangular space on one corner of the screens during some of the programs for exercise instructions called ‘Bright Exercise’. Audiences could follow these instructions and exercise while they watched our TV programs. The type of exercises varied depending on the time of day. This act further illustrates our brand commitment in making Thai lives brighter.

Outcome

Output/Awareness:

• We received a total of 2,994,950 impressions in two months.

• 102,160 views from 10 bloggers.

• 2,566,540 views from 5 websites.

• 10,875 combined Facebook user posts, likes, comments and shares

(326,250 impressions).

Knowledge/Consideration:

• 10,000+ consumers engaged via Facebook.

Action/Business Impact:

• 10,875 combined Facebook user posts, likes, comments and shares

(326,250 impressions).

• 4.5% increase in the number of likes in our Bright TV Facebook page.

• Number of talking about in our Facebook page increased by over 300% in

the first 3 weeks of Bright TV initiative.

This little rectangular show caught public’s attention by storm. The inclusion of Bright Exercise received great feedback from our audiences through social media that got many viewers to realize the importance of becoming healthy. With the success, through positive responses from our audiences, Bright TV placed the Bright Exercise show on more of their programs without expiring period. This initiative has further strengthened Bright TV’s positioning in committing to make Thai lives brighter.
