Crème Eggs are only sold for a limited time each year in the few months running up to Easter.
To let people know that the king of eggs was back, “Lick Here”, a playful subversion of a web cliché, written in goo, invites users to use a tongue to make a mess for as long as they wanted, before the sales message was delivered. Over 400,000 people “licked here”. Over 5,000 people entered the prize draw to win 3 crème eggs. Next year we can email them with the one piece of news they’re waiting for: “The Eggmeister has landed”.
