A special website was launched, and the sense of excitement was staged right to the moment of the launch.
On that website, everyone can make a 'virtual pocky rocket' and they will be unlocked to catapult them at the same time as the real pocky rocket launch.
We made tweets to generate automatically,when a virtual rocket is made and catapulted.
Outcome
On November 11th, in a single day, the number of tweets about Pocky hit 3,710,044. This set a world record for the highest number of mentions of a brand during a 24-hour period.
Sales recorded a 130-percent increase from the same time last year.
