Motto of the calendar: Looking until you are content. Eating until you are content. The idyllic pictures of Munich blatantly contrast the reality of the many poor citizens living in the city. Furthermore, the calendar is printed on wafers. First the addressees are impressed by picturesque photographs of their home town. But appearances are deceiving. When reading the calendar the shocking truth is revealed. Poverty exists in the well-off city of Munich. To additionally emphasise the statement the calendar is wrapped in a simple packaging: cardboard as we know it from needy people on the street asking for help.
Outcome
The expected feedback was surpassed. Since the beginning of the campaign there was an increase in donations by 53% and in memberships by 21%.
