Background
As we're working with the TAG Heuer's team since a few years now for their Christmas campaigns, they naturally came back to us to continue the pilots-elves saga.
This year we went afar from the watchmaking world and enter the Cinema universe, to make a link with their summer campaign focused on cinema that has been filmed with their new face : Ryan Gosling.
Execution
After a thorough selection amongst a large series of ideas involving huge watches in famous movie scenes, we established a consistent storyboard to install the story. Every detail and movement are carefully thought through during this stage. All environment, characters, watch models, animation, lighting, amongst other things, were created in 3D softwares such as Maya and Blender. Every stage has a specialist working hand in hand with animators to bring different parts of the film to fruition. Finally, for the post-production stage, edit, color grading and bug fixing are made on After Effects.
Outcome
For the global overview, the Christmas campaign included 129 contents. All platforms included we reach 9.2M impressions, 4M views on videos and a global engagement rate of 2.88% (327.7K engagements).
The overall results for December 2023 show significant improvement in terms of visibility (impressions, reach, and video views). Engagement remains relatively consistent, impacting the engagement rate on some platforms.
Given the competitive nature of this Christmas season, we successfully generated impressive indicators.
