Chupa Chups branded foil to wrap park lanterns in had a few considerations. The foil used for this had to be water-resistant and weather-proof. Furthermore, the foil had to make the same crinkles, typical of Chupa Chups lollies. Afterwards, suitable park lanterns had to be found: they should be located in frequented park areas and have the shape of Chupa Chups lollipops.The promotion was then executed in the parks and along streets in Munich.
Outcome
The success of the promotion could be evaluated on the basis of two factors: first, passers-by were highly amused. Second, many foils had to be applied a seond time, because the were stolen from the lanterns.
