Execution
The promotion was executed in the parks and along streets in Munich. Park lanterns, having the shape of lollies, were wrapped in water-resistant and weather proof Chupa Chups branded wrapping-paper. These „lantern lollies“ were an absolute eyecatcher, especially when they were illuminated in the nights.
Outcome
That the promotion was sucessfull, could be evaluated on the basis of two factors: first, the passers-by, mostly young people, were highly amused. Second, many wrapping papers had to be applied a second time, because they were stolen from the lanterns.
