Germans are convinced that cars – and everything that has to do with them – are a German invention.
The commercial toys with this misconception, backed by the music of the German national anthem and a German luxury-class look. So the element of surprise is even greater when the French Marseillaise plays at the end.
“The Anthem” was used to launch the CITROËN C6 in Germany – an automobile with which CITROËN is giving the German luxury class a run for its money.
