We knew that there are 6 states that have no law against trafficking therefore their newspapers would have to have a classified ad section for adults, it was a matter of talking to the newspaper and explaining how the situation was. Once they understood the situation they agreed to print an ad about this situation.
In addition to our foundation there are other associations in Mexico promoting this law to apply nation wide, they are mostly opinion leaders who we asked to take a picture of our printed ad and to post it to their social networks.
Outcome
Our goal through this ad was to reduce the number of victims of this crime and we did it, this ad besides creating conscience on people who looked for this type of services, also took some valuable newspaper space of the trafficking networks.
33,000 people got the message.
Senator Rosi Orozco, took a picture of the ad and tweeted it. 93,622 followers saw the tweet.
