The trademark contour bottle brought instant recognition to the display and easily communicated that Coca-Cola is literally, huge on refreshment! More important than its monumental presence, however, Coke’s Baywalk Bar has become an epitome of enjoyment and refreshment by allowing people to purchase and enjoy Coke on-site, lounge on the bar area, relax to the sea breeze and sunset, and chill out to the music emanating from the display itself.
Outcome
Selling 24 times more than the average vending machine, the Coke Bar is the most profitable unit in the country. Plans are underway to install another unit to meet demand.The Coke Bar has generated extensive media coverage but more importantly, thousands of Filipinos have a personal photo of this landmark.
