Codeology is an open-source project that reimagines code by bringing it to life visually. The Combination of coding languages in each Github project determines it's look, therefore, each creation is original.

Codeology pulls data from GitHub's public API and creates visuals using WebGL, Three.js, and GLSL shaders. Shape and color represent an individual language, with size being proportionate to how many characters of code were written. In its current form, Codeology recognizes and uniquely renders 100 different coding languages.

The Codeology project on GitHub has been starred over 250 times, and forked (codebase copied) 50 times

The Codeology site has seen over 100,000 unique visitors to date from 169 countries and over 428k page views.

Users organically submitted Codeology to Reddit creating 13 threads. The largest receiving 1272 upvotes and making it to the front page on launch day (driving over 16,000 unique visitors)

Awards to date include FWA Site of the Day, Mobile of the Day, Cutting Edge Award and Awwwards Site of the Day.
