Description
Truck drivers carry all types of load: wood, rocks, foods, etc. But the heaviest load is the one their families carry: the missing of a family member.
So we created the Comeback calendar. A calendar that not only gives you the dates, it also knows the truck driver’s location by using a mobile app in the trucker’s phone. The calendar flashs it lights and alert the family when he is almost home.
Execution
6000 calendars were produced and distributed at dealers during maintenance check-up. A mobile app installed on the truck driver’s phone sends its position to the wi-fi board inside the calendar. The truck driver set the distance.
Outcome
6000 calendars were produced and distributed at dealers during maintenance check-up and played a key role in bringing the brand to its costumers and their families. A single calendar turned into the most reminded campaign in the auto industry at the period, reaching 22M impressions in earned media. Furthermore, the product also became Ford Truck’s official calendar.
