Description
The Commonwealth Bank was the major sponsor of the tri-nations series held in February and March in Australia. The brief was to maximise that sponsorship, appeal to the true Australian cricket fan and entertain them with our lovecricket.com.au website.
Execution
Our print ad was simple short-hand to the true cricket follower. The visual simply demonstrated how real fans saw the game in every situation; for them it was the only sport that mattered.
Outcome
Each time the ad ran traffic to the site spiked by around five times. So far we have had over 80,000 cricket fans visit and interact with the site, playing the mpegs, watching the interviews and entering the competition.
