Description

The core idea was to feature Jamie - dressed as all six members of the Village people - sweeping through an English airport having arrived back from America. From dubious white powders to unhygienic places to store your kitchen utensils, each distinctive American character gets into some kind of scrape with the unimpressed airport staff. This culminates in all six characters striding side by side through the airport to the Villages People camp disco classic ‘Go West’.The objective was to raise awareness for a new series of programs featuring Chef Jamie Oliver travelling across America gaining a greater understanding of both the country’s food and it’s people, in his own characteristic style. The target audience was wide and varied: ranging from Jamie’s loyal fan-base, to anyone interested in food, travel or leather chaps.
