We negotiated an exclusive agreement with AmericanGreetings.com that allowed the Citi Thank You logo to replace the Thank You category labels on each of their three electronic greeting card sites. This was the first time any of these websites had allowed a marketer to brand their categories. We also designed three unique Citi Thank You e-cards and made them available to consumers free of charge. Custom text links, homepage icons and multiple banner units running throughout the sites allowed Citi to truly own the Thank You category.

Outcome

Awareness of the Thank You programme rose following the two month campaign. Over 30MM impressions were delivered, which was nearly 165% higher than original estimates based on prior campaigns. In total, over 55,000 users navigated directly to the Citi website, while 3,400 sent Citi-branded Thank Yyou cards.
