Description

The creative concept of the tv-Commercial was tailored to surprise and astonishment. In German there is only one word for 'bank' and 'bench' (=Bank). In a series of whimsical short commercials a guy is hanging on a bench=his bank. He stands in different seasons, rain and snow, a gardener and a painter, only to stick to his bench=bank. The emotion he triggers is pity. After a long period of distress and agony he finally gives in, lets loose and is ready for Easybank.

Outcome

The spot was implemented in December 2003. After just a few weeks a lot more information packages were sent to prospects and clients. In January 2004 Easybank contracted more new customers as ever before.
