OVERVIEW

Execution

This idea gives fathers the chance to feel their babies, for the very first time, in their own bellies.

An innovation specifically developed to reach fathers, and young couples. A “never done before” experience that Huggies want to offer to the fathers, to let them be closer to their babies than ever.

It’s a communication system that works with sensing electrodes on mom’s belt and replicating engines on dad’s belt. With a team of engineers, doctors and industrial designers we tested during four months the ways to detect and replicate the movements ant the baby’s kicks.

We used existing technology to do something that no one have done before.

Outcome

This innovation is now being experienced in more than 16 Latin American Countries. Kimberly Clark analizes to increase the number of belts, to replicate the experiencie in other continents, allowing the fathers feel their babies on the belly for the first time.

Maternities from all over Latin America want to include the belts experience as a complement to the echogram.

With this innovation we hope to change the way fathers live pregnancy forever.
