Execution
First fact, family and friends events are first shared through text messages and digital posts. Delacre biscuit box sharing assets evolution naturally had to go digital to fit these new habits.
Second fact is historically, people are used to give a second life to the empty box: sewing box, a tool box or a pencil box for kids. It was then acceptable for people to see more than a regular biscuit box coming from it.
Third, its original round corners and square box design looks like a phone app. This instantly brought us the idea of a mailbox concept.
Outcome
We created a mailbox within a biscuit box!
We created a website proposing to compose personal messages with texts and photos. Messages are then printed on magnets and sent to through paid Delacre biscuit boxes within 24h!
Delacre adapted its production chain with a personalized magnet printing section. Magnetic messages have been designed to fit the box. The top of the box also features the name of the sender…just like a real mail alert.
People can today compose a real message from their connected phone and computer…and send a delicious message in a biscuit box to their relatives.
