By innovatively printing through the gutter of the newspaper we were able to make our illustration of a homeless person look like he was 'tucked' under the newspaper as he would be in one of Jo's newspaper sleeping bags.
Outcome
Tickets to Design Indaba were completely sold out and the response to the identity at the Design Indaba conference was very positive. Collectibles like the illustrations of the speakers on postcards were snapped up and interactive installations had the conference goers 'making change' with the individual pieces of artwork. Speakers also got involved using their illustrated portraits as their social media avatars and inspiring others by sharing the MAKE. CHANGE. message with the world.
