Execution

In summer 2021, as the entire planet continued to grapple with a generational pandemic, conversations in the US were focused solely on the newly released COVID-19 vaccine.

Americans had their choice of three effective vaccines, but not all were willing to get it. Deep-seated social divisions turned a medical decision into a divisive political stance.

This film was born from the idea of: what if the vaccine conversation started from a place of love and empathy? We brought together pairs of people who know and deeply care about one another – one pro-vaccine and one vaccine-hesitant – and captured their authentic conversations on this increasingly personal topic. We wanted to show people they aren't alone in this difficult conversation. No talking points, no agenda, no politics. Just people caring about people.
