Background
Our core value is boldness, because we believe people should express themselves however they want, we know this requires boldness, particularly for the youth, and especially for the queer community. In different occasions we have joined Human Rights Organisations to raise awareness and promote acceptance of the queer community, like Rainbow Limited Edition products.
This work acknowledged the boldness of queer community representatives who believed in themselves and in their cause. So we praised them, by showcasing that bold moment integrated with the triangle that represents a challenge to the square minds of the establishment.
The brief asked us to build brand awareness while releasing a statement about our commitment to create a safe and inclusive environment for all members of the LGBTQ+ community. And our objective was to show how our triangle is ready to challenge the square and rigid prejudices.
Execution
"Stronger together" is just a cliché until you realize it's a fact. Members of the LGTBQ+ community join their hands as they bring their worlds together.
Love should not require boldness, but it still does. Meanwhile, together we stand strong.
Outcome
The campaign sparked public conversation and had a positive impact on brand perception, as we displayed a much more current stance of Doritos with a different approach from their current communication.
