Background
In 2018, the world declared war on plastic drinking straws. Guaraná Antarctica is the soft drink made from the fruit grown in the Amazon Rainforest. So the brand wanted to take advantage of Earth Day and get in on the conversation with a campaign. Not just a run of ads and posters, an invitation for people to live a more sustainable life
Execution
We developed a series of ads and posters with detachable strips that turn into straws.
Each version features a different native Brazilian animal, as well as native plants and guaraná, showing how we benefit the world when we adopt more sustainable attitudes.
The posters were made out of detachable strips printed on biodegradable material with nontoxic ink. Each piece makes 14 straws. To set them up, all you have to do is remove the adhesive and use a pen or pencil to roll the straw into shape.
