Background

Traffic accidents are among the 10 main causes of death in Mexico and are the leading cause in people aged 15-19, where 60% are also related to alcohol consumption.

Unfortunately, during the "Holy Week" holiday period, these accidents increase up to 10% throughout the country, since people enjoy these days to cross everything. They cross their drinks, they cross their limits, and they cross their responsibilities with their days off. But they need to know that there are things that should not be crossed to return home, because 9 out of 10 deaths from road accidents are preventable.

That is why the Mexican Red Cross launches the "Drive without crossing" campaign, which uses a very simple and forceful message to promote the importance of not crossing the responsibility of "driving" with any substance or distractor that can throw your way out of control and cause an accident.

Outcome

This campaign was launched in national media, amplified in different formats such as: national press, television and digital media, and thanks to its simplicity it obtained organic notes and mentions in different on/offline programs as part of the results.

Each piece uses its simplicity to leave a very clear message: when you cross driving with dangerous situations, you find the red cross.
