To show the world why it would be useful for couples to each have their own Spotify account. We wanted to interview real-life couples who lived together and shared pretty much everything, but their tastes in music. We didn’t tell them about the product we wanted to promote, instead we just asked them to casually share their musical experiences and stories as a couple. Chatting candidly about their (often hilarious) differences in musical tastes. We of course wanted to feature a range of couples, so made sure we casted a wide net. And after spending days interviewing couples from all walks of life, we landed on our final cast. We then sent over the recordings to our puppeteers, making sure they had ample time to truly absorb the personalities and practice their expressions.
