Description

Realism was the key element when designing this illustrated print campaign. Staying true to the vintage toy look was crucial, as their value is based on aesthetics, which help prove the collectible’s authenticity.

The color palette, the glossy finish of the toys, the small parts that form the action figures, as well as the normal wear and tear of vintage toy packaging, were taken into consideration when making the final 3D render of the illustrations.

During the creation of these prints, the design team visited the Dallas Vintage Toys store where several photographs were taken as an important reference for the overall crafting of the campaign, from copy points to packaging finish and overall print lighting that stay true to their brand identity.
