Execution

The music in the film was created to speak to younger generations using a genre of music that they would listen to and relate to: hip hop/rap. It was important that the track feel cool so that the target demographic would relate to it, and also convey the surreal world of the spot. The track was created by multi-instrumentalist composer/producer Kevin J Simon who produces indie and major label artists, as well as specializes in creating music for motion pictures. To further convey the authenticity of the track, UK Recording Artist and Vocalist Clement Marfo was tapped to deliver vocals for the song. The lyrics highlight not only the breadth of exciting adventures and knowledge that can be achieved with a phone, from creating new dance routines to learning a new skill, but also the dangers that children may be exposed to.
