Description
Create love for Keebler through the magic that is unleashed when the elfin world and modern world collide. We tuned our lack of presence in recent years into the source of our creative idea with “Social Newbies.” Like a grandparent using Facebook for the first time, Ernie Keebler, patriarch of the Keebler Elves, didn’t always understand how social media works – but that didn’t stop him from trying to the delight of his many fans.
Execution
Getting a 3D-animated character to be live on Facebook was a challenge. In order to achieve the truly live experience our fans expected, traditional animation was not an option. Instead, we achieved the desired effect through the use of creative editing techniques, preparing a wide-range of scenarios, quick-thinking improv, and technical mastery of in-studio recording. Creative ideation to execution occurred over four days, culminating in 1 teaser social post and event invite for our 800K fans and the six minute live event.
