Description

Not every American can afford a hybrid car. But everyone can change a lightbulb.

That's the idea behind Unscrew America, a campaign to get Americans excited about switching to energy-efficient CFL and LED lightbulbs.The flash-based site starts in a sad underworld full of quirky surprises. Change a bulb, and you enter a happy (but equally bizarre) sky world that presents an incredible amount of information in a fun way.

The site’s full of tucked-away animations, videos, odd surprises, innovative navigation and of course, a way to listen to Hall & Oates while you explore it all.
