The concept is based on a mixture of present scenes as well as historical scenes throughout the last 250 years.The challenge was to create a realistic picture of the past, starting at 1758.For that reason a lot of historical research on company and people at that time was neccessary. In the MAN archive of several museums, we found historical 35mm filmmaterial, mostly consisting of nitro-compound film, which was very difficult to develop.Furthermore we were shooting in 6 different countries around the world.The film was presented on 70.000 DVDs worldwide, on promotion-events and a short version was released in 9 different languages.
Outcome
The film shows a realistic picture of the origination of the MAN Group, their subsidiaries, products and key figures.
