It is 60 years since the atomic bombing. In the city where they said nothing would grow, you will find some special trees whose very roots are testimony to survival. Included in the register compiled by Hiroshima City, of buildings and other objects damaged by the atomic bomb, are 150 registered atomic bombing trees. Hiroshima today is a city filled with green, the legacy of this will to live. As they nurtured the life within themselves so viogorously, will you not join us in nurturing a love for Hiroshima over the next 60 years?
