2011 is the 25th anniversary of the catastrophe in Chernobyl. Global 2000/Friends of the Earth wanted to remind Austrians that it could happen again – every day, right at our borders. Though Austria is free of nuclear power it's not safe from it as Austria is surrounded by 14 power plants, some of them are extremely dangerous and Austrians know their names by heart – e.g. Bohunice and Temelin. If a serious accident happens there, Austrians are warned by the official sirens installed all over the country. For these radio spots a speaker imitated the official warning siren using the names Bohunice and Temelin
