Even if the name is familiar to them, Russians know little about Greenpeace.
Execution
To give justice to the scope of Greenpeace activities in Russia, we depicted them as legendary titans. And we made it possible for anyone to become one!According to three main directions of Greenpeace activity in Russia three cut-outs of titans were made.These cut-outs were installed in several public venues where the visitors could have their picture taken in the image of any of the three titans and keep the photograph.
Outcome
This campaign had large coverage both in newspapers and on the internet.www.greenpeace.ru saw its traffic increase by 6 times. At least 5000 downloads of personalized pictures of titans were made, and a massive presence of those were registered in Facebook, blogs, social networks, etcSeveral hundred photographs were given away at the events. Something tells us they won’t end up in the trash can like an ordinary leaflet would.
