Background

Our Earth is in critical condition, but not many Indonesians are aware of its condition; instead, their harmful behavior is a threat to worsening the condition.

Idea

Creating three variants of perfumes made from 100% natural materials that were inspired by real-life pollution fragrances, which are river/water pollution, air pollution, and soil pollution. The products were then launched at Jakarta's premiere hangout venue in one of the biggest malls in Jakarta.

Strategy

The campaign is targeted at everyone who is mostly shielded by artificial fragrances in their daily lives, so they are not aware of the earth's critical condition. By displaying the products right in front of them, it allowed them to experience the earth's unpleasant smells right away.

Execution

Our Earth True-Life Fragrance was launched at Jakarta’s premier hangout venue on August 25, 2023, when the air quality in greater Jakarta had gotten worse.

The products are then being exhibited in music concerts, school-to-school edu-shows, and offices' lobbies until the end of October 2023.

Outcome

The perfume went viral through 50+ national news coverage and gained positive reactions from visitors and audiences on the internet. The perfume serves a role for Greenpeace as a tool to remind the public and urge authorities to save our environment.
