Description
Felling trees for manufacturing paper is a worldwide problem. It’s even worse in India. This poses a serious threat to the environment and forest land, which can have catastrophic outcomes. Due to this, rainfall is erratic, which in turn causes soil erosion, taking away the nutrients from the soil that are needed for growing plants. Resulting in scanty growth of trees. This needs to be stopped.
Execution
For this we came up with an idea to redesign Sanctuary Asia’s business card. We designed it in such a way that instead of printing a separate set of business cards for each of their employees, they would have to print only one set with all the designations and names. So that every time a group of people from Sanctuary Asia attended a meeting they carried only one business card.
Outcome
The feedback from the clients that Sanctuary Asia employees presented their cards to was extremely encouraging as the activity not only promoted the idea of saving trees but actually practised it. Clients were pleasantly surprised and appreciated their efforts so much that they started incorporating this idea within their own organizations.
