Everest is a deadly, cold, and treacherous place. Enter the ‘Death Zone’, and living becomes a real struggle. Rescue is almost impossible. Witnessing the effects of limited oxygen on someone is unnerving . . . and now entertaining.

To experience the effects of altitude, we gave our voice artist the relatively simple task of reading a radio script, but at altitude in a hyperbaric chamber. This demonstration helped bring to life the daily struggles and challenges the Everest Rescue Team face when attempting to locate and evacuate climbers who are stranded in the deadliest place on earth. If reading a radio script was this hard, imagine how hard attempting a rescue on Everest must be.
