Description

Brook’s DNA cushioning technology is highly praised for its unique ability to continually react to your run. In an industry that often explains technology in a serious tone, we told whimsical stories of workers and creatures constantly creating structures to adapt the cushioning to your run.

The pillow scene shows how the Glycerin 12 perfectly cushions your ride, while the spring scene exemplifies how the Ravenna 7 is engineered to maximize energy return as you run.

Execution

As you read from the left, the story transitions from creating the objects, to a struggle to transport them quickly in order to build the structures in time. On the right, construction has completed and workers relax. There are details like a kangaroo directing the spring structure, teddy bears lovingly hugging the pillows to make them extra soft, a man taking a selfie, proud of his work on a finished pillow column, a worker sleeps on a pile of extra pillows while his boss yells at him.

Outcome

The campaign launched internationally and helped Brooks maintain its position as the number one brand in specialty running stores.
