One day, a boy asks his father if he can help on the farm. The farmer somewhat reluctantly accepts his offer, and puts the boy through his paces, cleaning tractors, sweeping grain silos, catching chickens and generally working the land. The pair have a sandwich at lunchtime in the cold rain, then carry on into the afternoon. After a long, exhausting day the pair sit for their evening meal, and the father gives his approval for the boys tireless effort and hard work.
