OVERVIEW

Execution

'TOKYO STYLE CLASH' was where our 'Fashionistas' showcased their own personal style, gathered at a special studio inside the street front window of BEAMS. With queues lining the streets, 9 photographers digitally documented over 1,500 individuals, providing a fascinating snapshot into the Japan's fashion scene.

Each photo was uploaded onto a special micro-site. Visitors from all over the world were able to participate in an interactive game to vote to ultimately determine a winner with the hottest style.

Outcome

Over the course of three days, 1,446 people lined the streets of Harajuku, patiently waiting for their chance to enter the shooting studio to have their photo taken.

As determined by voters, the 'hottest' dressed person in Japan was selected by a staggering 1,480,695 people playing the game over 3 weeks from October 14.
