In a society where men are seen as less emotional, it’s not always easy to tell your dad just how much you love him. Especially when Father’s Day - the perfect opportunity - is often overlooked as a day of celebration.
In the spirit of Every Little Helps, Tesco wanted to help. So we gave people a way to express their feelings and enabled them to do it face to face, without having to say anything at all. We surprised and delighted dads shopping in store, by handing over our tannoy system to messages of appreciation from their children. We then captured their reactions as they heard the message play out. And their reactions speak for themselves. Showing that it’s so important to show dad some love this Father’s Day.
