Childhood creativity is rarely celebrated beyond fridge doors and classroom walls. Goldfish Crackers used children’s illustrations to show kids just how far their imaginations can take them. We asked kids across Canada to draw an imaginative scene of a Goldfish Cracker. Then we surprised them by bringing their illustrations to life on billboards across the country, creating a nationwide out-of-home art gallery celebrating young imaginations.
The children’s art (including their signatures) was vectorized in order to preserve its original composition when scaled to the size of the billboard – ensuring the young artists’ visions weren’t compromised when they saw their work on the big stage. We customized the media buy to ensure each child’s piece also ran in their hometown so they could see it first-hand. Newspapers in regions around Canada featured stories of the kids standing in front of their billboards.
