A struggling actress is prompted into recalling the past upon seeing a heartwarming moment between a young girl and her mother via a box of Dove Chocolates. We follow her journey over successive Chinese New Years since she was a little girl herself, and how growing up also seems to make her grow more distant physically and emotionally from mum. She’s distraught at how she could have let so much come between them. She’s triggered into going home, only to realise via a simple Chinese new Year ritual that she repeated every year, she has never been far from her mother’s heart.
