OVERVIEW

Description

'Dog' is a brand commercial for South African bank FNB. The aim was to entrench FNB's core positioning of helpfulness amongst the target audience, as articulated by the end line, "Where there's help, there's a way." To achieve this, we created a story of a man who goes out of his way to help. We see him in a number of different scenes, putting up posters featuring the image of a dog. Whilst the viewer is initially led to believe that these are typical "Lost Dog" posters, we realise by the end of the commercial that the posters were, in fact, placed there by him to try and unite a dog (which he had found) with its rightful owner. It's an optimistic, uplifting story, proving that "Where there's help, there's a way."
