Increase awareness with ANZ Bank Branch Managers of the ANZ Personal Loans ‘Lunch On Us’ campaign. Achieve a 5% uplift in Personal Loan sales.
Execution
ANZ Branch Managers indicated that they would like more marketing support to increase sales and reach targets. However, they are often just too busy to go online and see what ANZ has made available to them. This internal communication bridged the gap between a perceived lack of support and the quality marketing ideas that ANZ provides to them.
Outcome
90% of branches running the six-week ‘Lunch On Us’ campaign achieved an uplift in Personal Loan sales of 70% or more during the campaign period, compared to the average weekly sales over a six week non-campaign period.Feedback is positive: the communication increased staff awareness of ANZ Personal Loans and the marketing support available. In addition, many branches reported that the campaign assisted in building relationships with business customers in their local area.
