Meditation and mindfulness can have a negative stigma to it and this project stemmed from a place of breaking that common association. Using a cast that really felt like people from all over the United States helped people see and hear themselves in the context of how helpful meditation can be. This project was cast and filmed in multiple cities. Further, this project was special because it has casting on two fronts, visual as well as sonic. Just as the directors filmed people who looked like everybody, they also had to interview people who sounded like everybody. The directors cast a wide net and because of those efforts they created a spot that is very representative of people often unseen in the advertising space.
