Execution
The track used is the 2013 piano version of David Bowie's "Sound and Vision". It is not an obvious choice, but the atmosphere of it was key in the decision to use it in this film. The team wanted something iconic, but unexpected, to match the visuals. It also echoes the British values of the brand. We worked closely with the record label to get access to original vocal stems to allow the team to craft the sound and music, so that it fitted the visuals perfectly. The piano drifts further away as we leave the house, and comes back again as we return. It was a privilege to work on this campaign with this track, and to be given permission to craft it in this way.
