Background
There are thousands teen in Israel that were thrown out of their home because of abuse or their sexual orientation, and they are forced to live on the street.
We had to generate awareness to Otot's help line, who provide them a safe place and shelter.
Idea
Anna Zak, the biggest and most popular pop-star in Israel released a song with her personal mobile number, that all teenagers in Israel could recite by heart. They called her non-stop, to the point she had to shut the line down.
We approached her for the good of the teens who need home, and already know her number by heart, so they have an easy access to a help line that can provide them a shelter and a home.
Strategy
Israeli teenagers, whose who need a home to get out of the streets, but also all the others who might need to know this number in the future or just help a friend.
Execution
The kick-start of the campaign was on July 19, 2022 with Anna Zak herself that posted on her IG that she donated the number for Otot's help line.
Within a couple of hours all news outlets on TV, radio, and web covered the story.
In the span of a day, it became the most talked-about event in the country.
Outcome
A 1000% growth in calls to "Otot" help center
Dozens of new donors (private individuals and brands) and volunteers
And most importantly – dozens of teenagers who found home.
