Virgin Atlantic needed to inform flying club members that South African Airways had come onboard as their new frequent flying partner. This new partnership meant flying club members could now earn miles on 300 new local and international routes. Customers received an email with a link to www.timeoff.co.za - a microsite that gives visitors the chance to break even more bones with a baseball bat and pick up a variety of personalised doctor’s certificates and X-rays. It hits home the simple message that as a flying club member, you may need help getting time off work to take advantage of free flights.
