Description
To show people the freshness of our tomatoes, we decided to distribute fresh tomatoes on the streets near our restaurants, and to offer people that brought them back in restaurant a Whopper… prepared with fresh tomatoes.
Execution
100 000 tomatoes have been distributed around our 40 restaurants, during 4 weeks. We have filmed the distributions, to make a movie explaining the approach and showing how proud we are about the freshness of our tomatoes.
Tomatoes that haven’t been used have been given to charity organizations.
Outcome
• 100 000 tomatoes have been distributed
• 51 000 have been brought back in restaurants…
• …so 51 000 Whoppers have been offered
• +152% of the trafic in restaurants
• 7 millions contacts have been reached
